Silly Putty Sight Word Search

Yesterday I posted about how we made silly putty with glue and liquid starch.  The boys have literally played with it for four days straight.  If I had known how much they would love it I would have made some months ago.

One of the fun ways we've experimented with the putty is by hiding objects in it.

I hid JZ's sight words in it last week, and he gleefully dug them out and spelled his words.

I used Letter jewels, because they are transparent.  I thought it would be a fun activity for the light box.

KO had fun watching.  :-)

The great thing about silly putty is that it washes right off, so when we were done all I had to do was wipe the light box and rinse the letters.

JZ is asking for more games with the silly putty, so stay tuned for more ideas...
