Letter Sounds and Sight Word Spray

We've done this before, and it continues to be an favorite game for the boys.  Using sidewalk chalk I drew a box with letters in it for JM.  He requested that I turned it into a house. (See the shadow of his hand pointing and instructing me?)

For JZ I wrote several of his sight words in chalk.

JM named each letter and made the proper sound, then he squirted the letter.

JZ read each word then sprayed it away.

JM finished up his letters quickly and wanted to help JZ.

Waterplay is always a hit with my guys.

The boys wanted to continue the water play after the words and letters were gone, so I drew a few targets on our fence.

Would someone tell JM that it's just plain cheating to stand so close?  LOL
